Dean & Eydie Michael started storing boats in Frankfort in 1989, when they built a storage building on the property on the Frankfort Highway (M115) where Dean grew up. His grandfather had purchased the land back in the depression. In 1996, when he retired from GM, Dean and his wife Eydie built the home on the property where they now live. With the new house built, there was only so much puttering around the house for Dean to do, and he got more involved in storing boats. In 2007 we added docks, lifts and canopies, becoming the NW Michigan dealer for Floe International, as well as a dealer for Classic (B&D) docks and lifts.  During the summer, their grandsons, Michael, a recent graduate of Olivet College, and Mathew, a senior (business) at Ferris State, work with them in the business, installing docks, lifts and canopies.

Dean and Eydie still live right there on the Frankfort Highway, ironically enough right accross the road from the largest boat dealer in Benzie County--MacDonald Marine. Stop by to say hello, or to see our line of docks, lifts and canopies.
